Our second Category is Best Music Video.

Betcha didn’t know that Fred wanted to be a scientist before he became a bonafide cartoon hit-maker!
He had us all in labcoats conducting a bunch of scientific research, tests and experiments to discover the DNA that makes up the “perfect” music video.

The prognosis looks good.

Here are our findings:
A) If it’s got a song, you can’t go wrong.
B) Go take a chance, cause folks love to dance.
C) You don’t need to cut to the beat to make the film a bona fide treat.
D) Give it a tune, the major record labels will be calling soon.
E) If you want a video that sells, call the ZZ Top gals.

So, there’s a guy trying to be cool, a girl and some cars.
I know what you’re thinking. Big deal right? But in the hands of director Romain Segaud, his brand of quality animation combined with the hilarious mood of the piece, you get an incredible amount of coolness.

I have no idea what the singer on this video was saying. All I know is that somehow, deep inside, the tune was catchy, and I caught the word “shiezer”, which is a naughty word in German.
